Chicago-based recruiting startup Hunt Club has raised $40 million in Series B funding. The company plans to use the fund to expand its businesses nationwide and upgrade its technology to continue helping companies find the right talent.
The startup’s primary goal is to connect innovative companies with great candidates. The Hunt Club community comprises over 20,000 business leaders whose networks help the firm scan over 7 million candidates or 10 percent of the white-collar workforce. Its system is programmed to ensure diversity to help companies receive the best talent without discriminating against anyone.
Its system has a six to eight higher response rate compared to similar platforms, and its top-notch tech has helped it post numerous notable feats, including a 156 percent increase in revenue from 2021 to 2022. The company has also helped place over 1,000 leaders in leading technology firms in diverse sectors.
Co-Founder and CEO Nick Cromydas believes the company is “reimagining” the headhunting process. He explained that top-performing candidates for high-ranking positions are challenging to recruit due to how rare they are and how difficult it is to reach them. This is where Hunt Club steps in.
Our technology is bridging that gap, introducing a personalized approach to helping companies

“Traditional recruiting firms aren’t equipped to innovate for their customers. Our technology is bridging that gap, introducing a personalized approach to helping companies change the way they approach talent acquisition,” Cromydas said.
In its Series A financing in October 2021, the company raised $10 million. WestCap and Sator Grove co-led this Series B round. WestCap has an experience of over 20 years in tech-enabled marketplaces.
WestCap’s Brian Reinken praised Hunt Club, saying its use of technology helps companies navigate the difficulties of candidate hunting by leveraging personal relationships.
“In recruiting, relationships are everything,” said Reinken. “Hunt Club’s approach seamlessly blends people, technology and networks to redefine how companies find hard to reach talent.”
